About

Hi, I am Jeyanthi Narasimhan aka jey, doing PhD in Graph Mining at Washington State University.

I have separated this blog into two streams - one on day-to-day nitty-gritty things (all posts with tech label) I do and other on technical papers and my research (all posts with label musings). After a prolonged delay, I finally found the day to open this blog.

More on Tech blog
On a typical day, especially when I am coding, I spend considerable amount of time searching some linux util commands, python how-tos, some C++ syntax etc. I have been keeping a journal of such search results and that journal has grown so big that I had to open this blog to make the search process less time-consuming - I would search here first and then in Google. This way I cater to both me and some beginners like me. Happy researching!!

More on Musings
I have been reading a lot of conference, workshop and journal papers and I would continue to do so since paper reading is bread and butter of being researcher. You will find here critiques of the papers I read, some of them formally written and some are not. Those that are formally written are the ones I developed as part of course work. Please leave your comments if you have more to add or  if I have grossly mistaken the point discussed in the paper.
